Regional Hockey Quarter Finals for Girls U14s
The
College’s U14 hockey side travelled to Cranleigh for the National Cups Regional
quarter finals on a very cold day and acquitted themselves
well. Conceding an early goal could have broken their spirit, but not this
bunch of talented hockey players. They bounced back with attacking play and
scored from a well worked move at a short corner finished by Tilly Fox. Four
minutes of tardiness in defence cost two goals and despite several near misses
the hard working forwards could not find the net past an excellent
Cranleigh defence.
