Year 9 pupil joins the National Children’s Orchestra
After a successful year in the National Children’s Orchestra (U13 division), Year 9 pupil Juliette is delighted to have won a place in the main orchestra this year. She auditioned with Chopin’s Prelude in c# minor and Mozart’s famous violin concerto in D KV218. Her accompanist was Old Eastbournian violinist, James Wicks, who has been a great inspiration and has helped her with previous auditions. She now looks forward to playing an array of incredible pieces in the upcoming spring residential course including Rimsky Korsakov’s Scheherazade. This is a fantastic achievement for such a young musician. Many congratulations indeed.
