Futures Fair 2019
The Eastbournian Society’s annual careers convention, now known as the Futures Fair, was held on Friday 1 March.
The event is an opportunity for College pupils from Year 11 and the sixth form to get advice on university choices, gap years and future careers.
It was also attended by a number of pupils from other schools in the area which are part of the Eastbourne Schools Partnership.
The fair was held in the sports hall in the Winn Building, and there were some 70 representatives of universities, professions and gap year companies, as well as others offering advice on interview techniques and apprenticeships. A large number of exhibitors are Old Eastbournians who very kindly return to the College to share their expertise with the younger ones.
We are grateful to the many Old Eastbournians, parents and staff who gave up their time to make the event such a success.
