4 Blocks Down
Year 12 pupil Abby performed her own play ‘4 Blocks Down’ last week as part of her Gold Arts Award. She wrote the play when she was 15 and since then she has amended her script and run some workshops with the Drama department to further revise it. The play touched on some current issues for children of her age, particularly related to mental health, and it left the audience thinking deeply about the world we live in. Abby will be submitting her script for review to the Royal Court New Writers Literary Office. Abby can be proud of her outstanding achievement.
All proceeds from her show will be donated to the mental health charity Mind.
