27 years’ service
One of the longest serving members of staff, Lorna Cameron,
retired from the College this week after 27 years’ outstanding service.
Lorna started at the College in October 1987 and her
superb service has seen her working in a number of areas across the school. As
well as a short time in the kitchens, she has been a domestic assistant in a
number of the houses including Blackwater, Powell, School, and, most recently,
Watt where she has been for the past eight years. She always worked incredibly hard and her
calm, unflappable presence was most welcome among pupils and staff. Lorna was a
real stalwart and her soft Scottish tones will be greatly missed around the corridors
of the school.
